Ryan Moore - a golfer's journey so far

Ryan David Moore, an American golf player, was born in December 5, 1982 in Tacoma, Washington, U.S. He currently plays at the Professional Golf Association (PGA) Tour.
He spent most of his teenage life in Puyallup and got admission to Cascade Christian High School and graduated from there.
During his school life, he had not enjoyed golf, due to less number of players wanting to play with him. However, Moore never lost hope and stayed committed to making a career in the leading game of the world.
The US Junior Championship was his first best finish of 2000. He secured a runner-up position and displayed an amazing performance.
For higher studies in 2001, he moved from the Cascade Christian High School to UNLV. He studied Communications and Public Relations, with increasing activities in golf, during his stay.
In 2004, he was the most impressive golfer of the region and delivered tremendous performances in different tournaments. Moore’s college life ended in 2005, with a degree and impressive golfing experience.
During his educational life, Moore recorded six amateur titles in total. He won the Western Amateur, US Amateur, NCAA Individual Championship and US Amateur Public Links.
Recording multiple wins as an amateur speaks loudly of his commitment and passion for golf.
His 2004 performance was enough for the officials to declare him a professional. He turned professional in 2005 and won the title of Haskins Award impressively soon.
To be a professional is not an easy task, as multiple finishes are required. He played well in the 2005 Masters, a major tournament, and finished 13th.
He improved his ranking from 718 to 142 by displaying impressive performances and also appeared at PGA Tour Q-School in December, 2005, earning $686,250.
Moore played his debut PGA Tour in 2006 as a regular member and tied for the second position at the Buick Championship. He is famous for earning handsome figures since becoming a professional.
In 2006, he almost doubled his earning to $1,222,118 and finished the year as the 81st on the money list.
He reached in the top-100 world rankings, after playing the Masters and PGA Championship in 2006.
Playing well and gaining some massive leads was a good factor. However, to be in the news, a player has to win a tournament. He finished in the top-10 several times and strived hard to win the tournament in PGA Tour events.
He faced a win-deficit career till 2009 but was able to record his debut win at the Wyndham Championship.
Moore scored a 16-under 264 and tied with the Jason Bohn and Kevin Stadler for the leading position.
The game entered into play-off and he titled the glory with a one-stroke lead over two other Americans. He earned $2,222,871 and reached his highest money list rankings of 31.
After 2009’s victory, he is again striving hard to become a leader again, but the glory is yet to be achieved. He currently plays at the PGA Tour and has played 22 events in 2011.
He was able to make the cut in 18 tournaments and finished 14 in the top-25 impressively.
His game is improving and earnings are increasing year after year. In 2011, he earned $1,942,906 and currently ranks 65th.
His current season at PGA is similar to the last. He played five events in 2012 and his best finish of T17 is at the Northern Trust Open with 1-under par.
There are many tournaments where he will be playing in future and he has potential to lead multiple tournaments. Hence, he can also gain popularity if he is able to win in the current year.
