Ryan air- hand luggage items? and other info please?

Question

I am travelling to spain in 5 weeks via ryanair , i have not flown with this comapny before and have paid check in allowance and a checked baggage of 15 kg each

i am told i can take a bag up to 10kg on board, what im wondering is am i allowed to put my hair dryer and hair straightner in this bag or do they have to go in checked luggage

also what about sun creams , make up and baby wipes etc can i put these on my on board bag

can i take a drink in a baby cup for my one yo

are ryan air safe to fly with , i get scared when flying and with them being a cheap airline am wondering if the pilots are trained as well as other airlines?

can i buy food on board the plane and drinks ( i am aware they dont provided meals)

any info appreciated

I fly on Ryanair time to time and the hand luggae is very very low. Very limited things you can bring aboard. The food and drinks are very expensive [£5 for hot dog] so bring your own aboard. It is safe though
