Both are going to get the nod as rookies. Who comes out on top this year and who ends up having the better career?

  1. This year I think Ryan is going to be the better guy but not by much. The AFC North's schedule is just brutal its hard for me to say Flacco will have any success but in the long run I think Flacco will be better. He just plays for the better organization, he's proven to be a fast learner, and Cam Cameron's recent track record with QB's as a OC is pretty good.

  2. Matt Ryan will probably have better receivers this year, plus Michael Turner in the backfield.

I don't know how good Ryan or Flacco's protection will be; but I think Ryan will have more immediate impact. Flacco will need more time coming from a smaller school background. My opinion.

  3. Ryan will be much better than people expect.

Everyone talks about how terrible ATL was... they weren't that terrible.  They just had to change from the Vick era.  All their former players were there to compliment Vick.

Now with Ryan, they look like a more complete team.  Give them 3 or 4 years, and Ryan will lead them to the playoffs.

Flacco will be ehhh okay this year.  I do not like Cam Cameron as his coordinator though.

  4. Matt Ryan. He has better receivers and that is really what it comes down to for me between these 2 QB's...

  5. Ryan.  He has more experience against higher quality opponents and is in a much easier division.  Flacco will flop.  He has bad WRs, an aging OL, and he has to play that nasty Steelers D twice a year.

  6. I think Joe Flacco will have a better year because he has better players around him in Baltimore than Ryan has in Atlanta. The falcons have little offensive talent mostly at reciever. Ryan is a better player but Flacco will have a better year.
