Ryanair, Flight change fees?

The flights cost £167 they want £211 to change them, how is this right? Surely im getting it wrong somewhere? Im changing the flights to 9th august instead of 9th july. the flights from birmingham to potiers and back again after a week... is this about right?

  1. As unfortunate and annoying as it is thats how S****y these airlines are, they see it as your fault and try to scam as much money of you as possible


  2. That's how airlines like Ryan Air stay profitable.  They rely on the fees generated by flight changes, checked luggage, and onboard sales to make money.  Fair?  Maybe not, but usually still a better deal than the regular airlines.

  3. They charge more for the busier seasons. I'm afraid this is common practice. It normally works out cheaper if you book whey in advance.But watch out for luggage costs too. They charge £25 for anything other than hand luggage (ruck sack sort of size) therefore if you can bring everything on board as hand luggage it will save you a few quid.
