Hi, does anyone know what are the maximum dimensions when I take a baggage on board (buying an extra seat firstly)?

75cm wide, 45 long, 150 high? Is that correct?

  1. Ring RYANAIR and ask them! or look on website. Remember they are Irish therefore dimensions may be different to ours!

  2. ryanair are a bunch of langers........Alan Quinlan was right 2 have a go at them after the Heineken Cup Final........

  3. They website doesn't specify, Hand luggage dimensions are 55cm x 40cm x 20cm, But for extra steats they don't give you information. They do however state that large instruments (harps or double bass etc) cannot be taken into the cabin as they are too large, so whatever your planning to take needs to be smaller than this!

Here is some information about extra seats...

and here is information about baggage in general

As the website says, remember to arrive as early as possible at the gate, as seats aren't allocated, and you may not be able to get two seats next to each other if you don't get there early enough.

Personally, i think the dimensions you give seem a little large, height wise, but i guess that depends of what it is you're taking. If you really need to know exact measurements, i'd ring their customer support line, 0871 246 0000 from the UK (10p/min) or use the following site to find out your countrys number.

Sorry if you know all this already! :)
