Ryanair one bag policy UK to Italy, can i carry SLR camera round my neck seperately to one bag?

Off to Italy next week and wondered if RyanAir would allow me to carry my SLR camera on a strap around my neck in addition to my 1 bag? Has anyone done this recently? Would call them but at 10p a minute it's outrageous!

can you not put the camera in your carry on bag untill you go through security its the security that are keen on how many bags you have on you ,i have travelled with ryanair they dont seem to bother wot you have when your getting on the plane .

i would imagine so.  I carry a handbag as well as my hand luggage.

when we were stationed in Italy we used Ryanair all the time and I always caried my camera with me

ooooohhhh i travel alpt with this Horrible airline.

You will not be getting away with anything.They are after your money.They treat you like a halfwit...and all this attitude comes right down the chain from the little t**t that owns the company.

Soo no you will be made to put it in your carry on bag which now has to be so small you can fit 3 crackers and two tampons in.

ryanair is c**p.

went to france in june.we had one big suitcase for my husband , my 2 years old and me.On the way there we were ok but on our way back to london they told us the case was too big and heavy and we would to be 150 euros for the extra weight!

but the case was lighter that on way in as we went self catering so we had a few things which we obviously didn't have on the way back.They suggested we bought another suitcase to get that one lighter!

when we told them that when we came nobody never told us anything about the weight and that it wasn't our fault they decided that we would only pay the price as if had another luggage.I will never travel with them ever again especially to france(and I am french)
