Arsenal’s Ryo Miyaichi who is currently on loan with Bolton Wanderers has claimed that he will score the next time he steps onto the pitch.
The Gunners went on to loan the Japanese forward to Bolton in January, as they opted to have him develop in the Premier League, despite having numerous offers from a number of foreign clubs.
The forward has already impressed just about everyone at the Emirates and is hoping to do the same at the Reebok Stadium.
Miyaichi went on to come on in the second half for Bolton, but failed to score a goal in the game, as Wigan went on to pick up all three points from the game.
However, the attacker is more than happy to finally be playing in the Premier League and is quoted to have said: "I was happy to be playing and I found out more about the Premier League"
"But we lost the game so I can't enjoy it too much."
Owen Coyle was so impressed with the way Miyaichi had been practicing, that he personally went on to tell the Japanese forward that he was going to put him the squad for the game against Wigan.
When talking about his talk with the Bolton manager, Miyaichi went on to add: "[Coyle] told me to go and play my football and be confident"
"He wanted me to run at the defenders and take them on, so that was what I tried to do."
Despite having come on with just a few minutes left on the board, the forward went on to put in six crosses, out of which three fell straight to Bolton players.
He also had a brilliant opportunity to score and get the game level, but saw Al Habsi make an outstanding reflex save to deny him.
Nonetheless, Miyaichi has now claimed that next time he is going to end up finding the back of the net, as he hopes to produce some brilliant performances for Bolton.
"I could have gotten a goal but the goalkeeper made a good save"
"If I had scored then everything would be more positive. Next time I'm sure I can score."
