Ryo Miyaichi to get more first team chances at Arsenal – Premier League Update
Arsenal’s manager Arsene Wenger has gone onto reveal that Ryo Miyaichi is now set to get his fair share of chances at the Emirates.
The eighteen year old winger was brought on in Arsenal’s game against Shrewsbury Town last night and as a result, the player went on to produce his long awaited debut for the Gunners.
In the 71st minute, Wenger replaced http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Park-Chu-Young-c29137 with Miyaichi and with the Gunners already being two goals ahead of Shrewsbury, Miyaichi didn’t really need to do much to ensure Arsenal heading into the next round of the tournament.
Nonetheless, the short amount of time the Miyaichi spent on the pitch was enough for him to impress Wenger and the Gunners fans. The winger took a number of good touches on the ball and looked quite lively for the twenty minutes he spent on the pitch.
Following the conclusion of the game, Wenger took the opportunity to hail the youngster and is quoted to have said: "He did well when he came on"
"My regret tonight is that he didn’t play long enough to show what he is capable of doing. He will get more opportunities."
Arsenal are currently in need on a winger, who can go all out and spend the entire game on the flanks. At the moment, the wingers that the team heavily rely on are http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Theo-Walcott-c34873.
All three of those players, if anything are much more efficient when given a more central role. Arshavin and Walcott have come forth on a number of occasions and admitted that they would like to be reinstated to their central roles, which they used to play
in, prior to joining Arsenal. However, Wenger seems to think that there are no replacements for the players at the moment and for that very reason, he has had no option but to keep using the two on the flanks.
Now with Miyaichi set to develop into a force to be reckoned with, it seems like Arsenal are going to be able to utilize his talent on the wing, while having the option of offering Arshavin and/or Walcott a more central role in the future.
This is going to prove to be rather beneficial for http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Arsenal-c38429, as the team are in desperate need of some central players, who can add a sense of creativity to the team’s attacks and fill in for the players that departed over the summers.
All in all, the future seems rather bright for Arsenal, should everything go according to Wenger’s plans.
