Ryobi Oscillating Spindle Sander OSS450 Manual and...

Question

I have a OSS450 but am unable to changeout the 1/2" spindle sandpaper. The other attachments have rubber sleeves that are inserted over the spindle and accepts the various sizes but not the 1/2" which seems to be on the spindle directly. Other than the nut and washer at the top of the spindle that secures the spindle attachments, I cannot find any other means of disconnecting the spindle or the spindle sandpaper sleeve from the unit. The 1/2" spindle sleeve just won't budge, so I can't use the other attachments. I bought the unit used but do not have the owner's manual. I don have a parts schmatic but it doesn't help.
