Rythmics gymnastics training?

rythmic gymnasts...do you learn flexibility first? or you learn the apparatus' and then does the flexibility just come?? but i highly doubt it just comes natrually? am i right?

  1. In a rhythmic gymnastics class you begin with stretching but you work with the apparatus each class. Most rhythmic gymnasts start at a very early age, which helps their flexibility. Olympic level athletes train for around eight hours a day, which is how they become so good at what they do. The flexibility they have comes with stretching over time. Although some (some would argue most) of these athletes are naturally flexible, it comes with a lot of training.
