=S Disappeared? What do you think?

There was a centipede in my kitchen so I put a plastic cup over it so I could vacuum it in the morning (I'm afraid of centipedes. They're my #1 fear...) Anyways, in the process I cut off some of its legs and it started making some creepy sounds. I went to get a book to put on top so it wouldn't crawl out.

Courageously, I came back 20 mins later and lifted the cup up to see if it was still there. Lo and behold, it was gone.

Where did it go?! I was gone for like.. 2 seconds and I chopped off its legs. Did it manage to crawl out from under the cup? There was NO space. I lifted the cup up and peered inside and it wasn't in there either.

Can someone explain this to me? Can centipedes flatten themselves out and crawl under a plastic cup like that? It's really freaky.

At night, when you're going to sleep, does it sometime feel like something is crawling on your ear? Centipedes are people too you know. Its going t o eat your brain when you go to sleep tonight...............listen for it!
