Which cartridge performs better (Power, Accuracy, Range, Recoil) out of the same barrel length?

  1. I have a 460 V with means its a 5" barrel instead of 8 3/4.  410 will not fit in the chambers.  It's lighter than the one with the longer barrel so it kicks a little more, but I think it's very manageable.  At 220  lbs I can shoot it as long as I can afford, my wife at 110 lbs can shoot it, but she did not enjoy it so she's only shot it once.  Even in 45 colt its not exactly a plinker, but a heck of a lot cheaper to operate than the 500.  My wife actually prefers this gun in 45 Colt to her Taurus. (Taurus=the one that shoots 410 or 45)  In 45 colt it doesn't kick much more than a light 22 and the noise and blast is nothing.  The 460 Magnum noise and blast is as stated above, absolutely defining.  I always warn others at the range if I see anyone without ear muffs.
