  1. alot of people have trouble with S boxes and especially rails.  since you described a box this will be SLIGHTLY simpler.

sorry if this is confusing or difficult to understand but its a difficult thing to explain verbally

the difficult part of an S box is the second C, because your position on it depends on how you slide the first half, and it is sometimes your unnatural side...  to clarify what i am talking about in the following steps, when i talk about being low on the first c, i mean staying with more of your weight centered on the inside curve edge. curved boxes are banked to make it easier to stay on, so the inner edge is "lower" than the top edge  (ex: on a right- curving c, you will want to stay on the right side edge, which is lower than the left and is on the inside of the curve.

    1) your gona have to be comfortable sliding those c boxes both ways... curving right and curving left but one will be more difficult because your tips will be pointing at the snow (curved boxes are usually banked).   find out which direction your S box starts in... hopefully its the curvature your more comfortable with for the first half.  (ex: i slide boxes wiht my skis facing left, and right curving boxes are easier, so the first half of the s box my skis are facing away from the snow)  this is because it is much easier to put your ski tips on the upperside of the banked box.

    2) approach the box aiming for the inner side of the box, just high enough to slide the first half completely.  this will leave you in good position for the second half : at the top of the bank of the second turn.  keeping that in mind, approach with PLENTY of speed.  this will keep you from "drifting" across the box from one side to the other, which will mess you up for the second half.  Land on the box normally with you body facing slightly more forward than you usually would rie a box.

    3) when on the box stay L.O.W.!  keep your feet wide and stable

    4) as long as you going fast enough, and are positioned low enough on the first half, you should have no problem on the second half.

    5) more so than explanatino, the best way to learn new tricks is to keep trying them and learn from experience.  you will be able to see what is going wrong when you fail, and will be able to make correctinos based ont his

    GOOD LUCK!
