I really do not know if I am blowing this out of proportion?

I have a friend staying at my house from out of town. He of course cannot spend his own savings to buy stuff he needs while in town. He expects me to pay for everything because he thinks I am like a billionaire (even if I was that is rude).

Anyway I own a double in Los Angeles and I rent out the upstairs unit to college dudes. Well my friend just went and bummed beer off of them because he is tooooo cheap to go buy his own beer and expects everyone to take care of him.

It just pis*es me off soooooooooo much. I find it embarrassing and rude that a guest that my tenants do not know is bumming stuff off them. Like they are going to say no.

And this friend of mine got mad because my dad was trying to bum beer off of him and he threw a big d**n hissy fit.

Am I being ridiculous.

Oh these are college kids on a budget. My friend is 31 years of age.

I find this really embarrassing

  1. Your friend has overstayed his welcome.  It may be time to ask him to leave.  It already looks unprofessional if the guest of your landlady is bumming alcohol off college students.  Telling you to go out and buy stainless steel pots when you know he wouldn't chip in a single dollar is over-the-top.

  2. Yes it is rude.  And there is a very easy way to make him stop -- tell him to go home.

  3. tell him he has out stayed his welcome

and if he doesn't leave contact the police

ok it's drastic but he has abused your friendship   your father   and your tenants

so it's time to go to where ever he came from ...................
