  1. it should be easy to replace the whole cable.  use some electrical tape to get the new one and old one together (make sure the connectors are offset so they aren't much thicker) then pull the old one from the other side.  be careful when pulling or they may come apart. having someone help feed the new line is helpful, but not necessary.

  2. As far as I know the entire plug will have to  be replaced (Replace plug on the end of the cable)

  3. There's really no good way to replace the pin.

Your best hope is to snip off the connector, and crimp on a new one.  You can get connectors and a crimping tool from the local hardware store (it'll be in their "home wiring" section) or from some electronic stores.

  4. Check out partexpress.com.

They will have all the connectors and tools you need to replace the connector. Replacing the connector is your only option if you can not replace the whole cable.

  5. Search for the part on Ebay.  You canjnhot easily repair PINS that fall out.  The cables and wall plates ar echeaper on ebay.

  6. Easiest thing top do is replace the whole connector if your comfortable with that. I've include the signal pin out and a link to a web site to purchase the connector, (although you can get them cheaper at Radio Shack etc.
