S video to VGA converter...?

OK I have a plasma tv I want ot use a a computer monitor. IT has an svideo port, all I need is a converter like this one:

But, the s video port on the cable is the same one as the one on my tv. I need a cable with an svideo port with the pins like this one

I have looked everywhere, please tell me the name of it or a store, place, ebay, where i can find it. thanks guys

  1. It is not going to work.

    S-video is Luma/Chroma and perhaps you can translate to composite video. VGA is RGB. You need a color converter.

    Plus even if it worked s-video (480i) would look terrible on a big plasma TV.

    Go buy a new video card that has either digital DVI or HDMI output and you can display in HD!
