S10 aftermarket stereo wiring ?

Question

i have a 97 s10 and i just hooked up all the wiring and a pioneer stereo and it all works but when i turn up the volume nothing comes out the speakers. All my wiring is right to speakers. I have all the power to the stereo but nothing out the speakers. Also i was dumb and cut all the original wiring harness and so i had to wire it all direct. So i need help and someone point me in the right direction and maybe i can find out why i have nothing coming out of my speakers?

First I would double check the wiring.

all you hace to do is go to the pepboys closest to you and buy a wire harness for your truck.. every harness comes with illistrated detail and all wires are mark with detail.  all you need is the tools you used to remove you radio and wire stipers  and black electric tape.
