SA-HT900 audio problem.?

Question

Everytime I turn volume up above -20db,it goes to mute and won't work until I turn it off and turn it back on again.

Any one has had this problem?

Check for frayed or shorted cables, especially the speaker wires. Check the impedence rating on your speakers. If the speakers are lower than the level specified by your amplifier the amp will run out of current it can deliver and trip the protection circuits to keep it from overheating.
