SAHM's, what is the best product to sell from home to earn extra income?

I would love to earn some money while staying at home with my kids. I've been trying to figure out what I can do and I'd like to hear from some other moms on what they do to earn money. I like the idea of Gold Canyon candles or Mia Bella candles but they are just too expensive for people in my town...not saying that there are a bunch of cheap-o's in my town, lol..but I live in a very small farm town and I can't see people buying one candle for $20. What are some great ideas? Thanks

None of the MLM/Network marketing/dual marketing c**p like Mary Kay or Pampered Chef. Almost everyone who gets tangled up in those pyramids loses money.

You could try submitting articles to eHow and Associated Content. Staples and HSN hire at-home phone reps (check their corporate sites), or, if you have any aesthetic aptitude, you can start a décor consultancy or do graphic design for all those little sole-proprietorships in town where the owners try to do it themselves when they really oughtn't.

You could check out those work-at-home companies, but never pay a company a start-up fee to work for them, that's just ridiculous and be careful who you give sensitive information too.  As far as Gold Canyon, it wouldn't hurt to try... it's free to sign up right now.  And your business is never limited to just your area.  Good luck in whatever you decide!!  :)

Take a look at the site below - its totally free and no money out of your pocket what so EVER!!

Just get your friends, family, etc to shop on the site and you will make money off of them. You do have to sign up but you dont have to shop unless you want to!! Browse thru the site and see if its something you think you can do.
