  1. Not a SAHM but I just wanted to say I though this question was interesting.

I despise Mondays, but never really thought about a SAHM feeling the same way. I guess it makes sense that you would since the weekends are always full of fun and family. Monday its back to the same old same old.

Ha ha Johnny's Mommy...you do that to me all the time!

  2. Unfortunately, I'm not a SAHM (although I'm trying my best to work my way into that). I guess Mondays would be just as depressing though, especially if your hubby has to go back to work after a weekend full of family time. Or, if your week has to go back to the dreadful "daily routine" once having a weekend free of it (well, almost LOL).

Wow... I'm impressed with this question. Just a normal question based on curiosity. No bashing... that's how I like it.

  3. My husband, at his previous job, worked one full week on for 8-12 hours a day and one almost full week off. So Mondays weren't anything. Now, that he has a normal job with somewhat normal hours, I do dread Mondays because the weekend seemed so short!

  4. my days seem to run together now. but i do love knowing a new week is starting.

  5. I agree with Inked Mommy. I hate Mondays because it means my husband has to go to work for the next week instead of stay home with me. I get lonely at home with just me and the baby, so I love the weekends and dread Mondays.

  6. mondays are fine, my bf works all days of the week, so when im no longer a full time sahm and go back to college i will probably dread them

  7. I HATE mondays because it starts the 5 days that my husband won't be home during the day too. I love when he's home and we all get to spend time together and enjoy our little family!

  8. My husband is currently deployed, so Mondays aren't any different than any other day of the week.  I guess they are a bit more busy because all the phone calls that I couldn't make all weekend are made on Mondays, but that's it really.  Oh and the grocery store is closed on Mondays, so I have to go to Wal-Mart if I want milk.  lol  Other than that, no difference at all in my book.

*thumbs down?  For what?  lol  Oh well.

  9. That depends on how the weekend went.  If my hubby and I battled it out over what we were going to do, I don't mind having him go off to work on Monday and being out of the house.  On tough weekends, by Sunday afternoon I'm ready for him to be gone.

If the weekend went well and we had a good time with out much struggle, I have a hard time on Mondays.  Mornings are usually okay since I can use that time to catch up on housework (or on Yahoo Answers...), but after lunch I'm starting to really miss the weekends.

  10. Ellie took the words right out of my mouth.  I'm not a SAHM (although I wish I was...) but I never actually thought about how SAHM's thought of Mondays.  Very interesting!

  11. there bad and good at the same time.  my husband isnt home but kids go to school so i almost alone except anna-4 and its nice to be alone and not worry about ur kids but i wish my husband wuz home

  12. Hmm, I don't see Monday as any different than any other day.

  13. I don't like Mondays because I had hubby home all weekend with me and now he's gone :(

    I'm to spoiled...

  14. yes =( it hurts my heart to drop off my 4 month old at the daycare after a wonderful weekend with him!!
