  1. Don't worry I am also taking the SAT II Biology E/M test tomorrow.

Well, just study the whole book first. Then, the day of the test, you put in a code of whether you want to take E or M. E is more of the biological community, population, and energy flow stuff while M is more biochemistry, cellular structure and processes.

When you see the test, you also get to choose between the E section and the M section, so I'm pretty sure you can like look over the questions and then decide which one is best.

Sparknotes.com has some free tests I think. I'm looking for them right now. Good Luck.

  2. how long is it supposed to take anyways??

  3. Can't believe you waited this long to even decide which to take. I'm also taking it tommorrow and E is probably the easiest, it's broader than M. You can get 1 practice test o sparknotes.com

  4. This a bit belated but...

Colleges evaluate the biology tests equally, so taking either test won't necessarily improve your image more than the other. However, they do cover different material:

        *  Take Biology E if you feel more comfortable answering questions pertaining to biological communities, populations, and energy flow.

        * Take Biology M if you feel more comfortable answering questions pertaining to biochemistry, cellular structure and processes, such as respiration and photosynthesis.

        * Indicate choice of Biology E or Biology M on your answer sheet on test day.

    (From CollegeBoard.com)

It's generally accepted that Biology M has broader questions because the material is "more difficult," but some others have found it to still be an easier test. It's recommended that you study one of the two more thoroughly in advance, but just for good measure, you should glance over both parts on test day. Good luck!

(P.S. I took mine today too... guess who's going to get a retake in October? >_< Yikes.)

    1) What did u guys answer for the Hawaiian drosophilla problem?

    2) The pyramid of energy problem? where the choices were the herbivores obtain more energy from their food and carnivores receive less energy from their food? There was also another choice of "energy is lost at each step" i thought this was a bit vague coz of "each" step, but wat did u guys put?
