I am planning on taking the SAT I and ACT this Fall

I am applying to several University's

1.My question is , if I take the SAT I then when will I take the ACT ?

On the same day or Different days ?

2. Also the University's I am applying to, only view students who at least had a score over 1300

How can I study online and hit the books to make sure this pays off?

  1. both the SAT and ACT offer practice tests online, which prepare you pretty well if you do well in school. both tests are done by different companies, so they will be taken on different days and will be two very different experiences. the SAT is awful. it is hours upon hours, and is divided into innumerable sections. for example, instead of one big math section, you will take like 4. its so aggravating. the ACT is a shorter test, and you only take each subject once in one long section. its a much nicer experience. just make sure to focus on preparing for the science section because i brushed it off as a no brainer and then got severely stuck on it when i took the test.

also, make sure which tests your university wants you to take. you may not have to take the ACT.

  2. Whats up -

You almost always take the tests on different days (they're pretty long, tedious tests). I would be very very very surprised if you took them both in the same day.

As for the scores, try to see if your school offers practice courses/sessions. Otherwise, go to the bookstore and buy/study practice SAT and ACT books. They have plenty to choose from. Practice will help a lot but your score is really based on your ability to pace yourself and obviously your knowledge lol

    Good luck
