Question:

SAT II Math IIC but not very good at math

i'm planning on taking the sat II math 2 in november, but just not too sure if its enough time to study

i took algebra 1 &2, geometry, and pre-cal and i got A's and B's

i got a 650 on the sat's on the math section. i'm not so great at math, it took some time for all the pre-cal stuff to sink in

i know that that math 2 looks better on applications and i'm going to be a science major.

any suggestions for what i should do? or should i just not bother with it, thanks!

  1. i think ur fine

  2. It sounds like you should take Math 1 to be honest. Math 1 is better if you're worse at Math A higher score by 100 points in Math 1 rather than Math 2 looks better on an application.

  3. i have never taken Math 2, but i heard Math 2 is easier than Math 1. and since you have taken Pre-Cal, you should take Math 2. Math 1 is very tricky (i took it), but Math 2 is more straight forward.

Math 2 does look good on applications, and maybe take a science (since you're going to be a science major).
