Question:

SAT II Subject Tests?

I just took 2 SAT Subject Tests. I took Math 1 and Chemistry, however, I got a 400 on the math and a 420 on the Chemistry (very, very bad). I did much better on my SAT I. I was just wondering do I have to send my SAT II Subject Tests to colleges? Can I just send the SAT I and forget about the SAT II?

  1. when collegeboard sends out your sat scores, they send every test taken with them (including sat IIs) to that university. If the university does not require them, they most likely wont pay much attention, but if the scores are that low, it might raise a warning flag, so i suggest taking them over.

  2. If you are applying to Ivy Leagues and Tier I schools, yes you do have to send SAT IIs.  Some other universities also like to see SAT IIs to determine placement.  Try them again and this time study!
