  1. I would definitely take both again, or try another subject that you may be more comfortable in.  The Ivy's, like all other schools, do not pose cut-offs for any tests, because they take holistic approaches to evaluating your application.  They'll look at your grades, SAT/ACT scores, whether you took the most challenging classes at your school, where you stood academically compared to your classmates, and as far as extra curricular activities go, they'll look for trends in interest and signs of character.  This will also be shown in your essay, which can make or break an application.  The reason why test scores are always so high is because students with higher test scores tend to also do better in all of these categories, that's all.  So to answer your question, yes it's bad, but you can study, try again in the fall, and hope to do better, but also know that it's only a small piece of the puzzle.

  2. Sure you can ... all u have to do is prove that you possess qualities that make you stand out from the other applicants. Grades really aren't everything when it comes to colleges ... they like to see a student that is well rounded, not just academically successful as most applicants are. Show the Ivy league schools that you can make a difference in the world someday - that's what truly matters to them.

  3. Wellll I don't think so.

I got a 680 and im not even gonna try for an Ivy Legue with a grade like that. Like I went and toured @ boston University and I asked what kind of Sat II grades hey would like. they said 650 is average. Keep in mind BU is a 2nd tier school. This measn its the step below Ivys.

Deff. take over Wolrd History again. But dont get discouaged you can do anything you really want too.
