If I signed up for Math 2 and Literature, can I change which ones I want to take on the test day without paying for anything?

  1. Yes, you have the opportunity to bubble in which tests you would like to take on your answer sheet, which has three sections (because you can take only up to three sections in one sitting).  All the Subject Tests are in one fat book, so it'll be no problem at all; just be sure to bubble in the correct test you want to take and follow the directions specific to each test.  Both my friends and I have done this.  You cannot - however - take MORE or FEWER tests that you paid for.  For example, since you signed up for Math 2 and Literature, you MUST take TWO subject tests on the test date.  Not doing so will result in a delay or cancellation of your scores.

It might be best not to mention this to the proctor, as many proctors are not aware that it is completely permitted to change Subject Tests selections on the day of the test.

Remember - however - that you may only work on ONE test per hour and may not skip in between tests during a one hour time period.

    Good luck!

  2. Yes, you can change which ones you want to take on the day of the test without paying anything extra. However, you cannot take more tests than you signed up for; as long as you take two tests, any two subject tests, then you're absolutely fine.

  3. no, there's a deadline for how long they'll let you change the subject without charging
