SAT Verbal &SAT Math course in high school??

I'm taking those two classes. I have one every other day. What does SAT verbal mean? like what will i be learning or preparing for in that class. Me and my friend are taking it and are a bit confused.

"Verbal" is an outdated term. The SAT used to have two sections, Verbal and Math. Now it's divided into three sections: math, critical reading, and writing. My guess is that you'll be preparing for the critical reading and writing sections.

A lot of it will probably be grammar and vocabulary, and other general English skills. Maybe some test taking skills. You'll probably do a lot of practice tests for the SAT.
