This may be a stupid question, but is this an essay? Can you explain what that part of the test is?

    but for writing, there is

    first section of sat is an essay which is graded towards ur writing section


  2. No, the SAT verbal (now called the critical reading section) is a reading section. You have 3 critical reading sections, 3 math sections, and 3 writing sections plus the 1 experimental section (which can be any one of these 3). The c.r. section starts out with 5-8 "fill-in-the-blank" type questions and you choose the best vocab words that fits in the blank. Then, there's usually a short passage (maybe 2) followed by 2 questions each. Then there are long passages. They can be compare/contrast passages, 2 separate passages or just 1 passage with 8-10 questions each.

  3. The SAT has 3 sections, math, writing and reading, which is also known as verbal. It tests on sentence completion with a list of vocabs that most people don't know, then it has passages and reading comprehension questions. The writing section is where you have to write an essay and improve sentences and find mistakes in sentences.
