SAT-increasing vocab?

I'm planning to take the SATs and i've already purchased the books. But when i attempted the reading section, i found it hard to understand because of the vocabulary. Does anyone have any suggestions and advice on how to understand and memorize more vocabulary? Thanks!

Make connections through other words that osund similiar to it, or make a remberable picture. I had a SAT book for 9th grade that already did that, it really does help alot.

i memorize vocabularies using cards

write the word on the front and the meaning on the back

and memorize 10 per day

for this, i memorized 300 vocabs already! which realli helped for SAT

buy vocab books that are specifically made for the SAT vocab.

They give you a book full of good words to know, you just have to memorize them
