i took the math II SAT subject test in june and i dont think i will be happy with my grade. im hopin for a 500 at least... i know, pathetic right?

it sucks how straight A students (me) do poorly on SATs but extremely well in school. hate it.. absolutely sucks. i know, life isnt fair

i think that i will most probably retake the mathII in the fall

i took literature in june too and i prob will be sad with my grade..

however i think that i will take a subject test and the math II in the fall. im divided as to what that one subject test should be. i took chemistry in june too and i know im set with that one , cuz i think i did well. so im nott too worried about chem. im kinda leaning towards us history but my dad said that colleges dont regard the US history test as useful and would rather u do lit than history. is that right? i tried to convince my dad thats not true and that the us history is just as important as lit... id rather do us history cuz its easier

  1. Take a breath... most colleges these days are placing the subject tests into the category of "placement" rather than "admission".  This is true for nearly every state college, but elite privates are likely to s***w you over every way possible.

  2. Well, it depends what you want to study when you go to college. Colleges don't look at some subjects as being better or more important than others, but they do prefer to see subjects that represent your talents and interests. So I would say take whichever one interests you more and you think you're better at (you said history was easier, so go with that as long as you are planning to study something at least somewhat close to that in college).

And as for your math 2, the grading curve is a lot more lenient than you may have expected. So you may be pleasantly surprised come June 26.
