SAT math levels 1 and 2 subject tests?

Question

Do i need the Kaplan book for the math level 1 test if I'm getting the level 2 book too?

Or should i just buy the level 2 test book? Will the topics in level 1 be discussed in there too in as much detail? I don't want to go right ahead to the advanced concepts without reviewing the basics...

usually level 1 and 2 math are together i.e. princeton review

if you are just taking level 1, then get books on level 1. You don't need to know extra.
