Alright, I took my first SAT in june, I didn't really study for it, and i was just taking it to see what it's like, i'm taking three more in the fall. I ended up getting a 1500/2400.....not a good score at all i know. I'm super good with the literature sections, but i didn't pace myself good for the test and ended up not finnishing sections (I won't do that again!). Math, however, was a different story, I compleatly screwed it up. Last year, in 11th grade I took college calculus and got an A, unfortunatly, everything on the SAT math sections are from what i learned back in 8th grade... I don't remember a thing about what to do with such simple problems...and I'm not sure how to prepare for them.....I ended up getting a 460 on math. Are there any SAT prep books that TEACH math problems? thanks

  1. college board.. the giant blue book is really helpful. I find princeton review to be awesome as well....

  2. Hey, I know how you feel, Math killed me also, did great in Literature but Math destroyed my score, I got a 1560 which is close to your score. I am taking the ACT because I like easier Math lol and I have taken the SAT a few times now. But for you since you are taking the SAT again I suggest using this book,

    http://www.amazon.com/Official-SAT-Study...

This will give full explanations on how to solve all of those math problems that you find hard to remember and also teach you while you are going over them. I hope you do great on the SAT the next time, Good Luck, God Bless, and Have a Good Day.
