About what scores of SAT subject test are guaranteed to get admissions from prestigious schools, such as Harvard, stanford, johnshopkins?

I know Harvard require 3 subject tests, and I already took 3 but their results are not satisfying me. (610-chem,630-bio,700-math2)

Should take chem and bio again if I want to go to one of the schools above?

  1. for those schools,i suggest 800's.no joke

  2. Subject tests should be 650+ to even be taken seriously.  700's are what you need to look like you really know your stuff.  For places like the ones you've listed, the cut off scores that might guarantee you admittance into the run of the mill colleges sort of dissapear.  Perfect scorers don't get into some of those places.  A higher score will only make you more appealing, but it won't guarantee anything.

  3. You are never a shoe in for Harvard.  I got 3 750s and I know for sure that I am not a shoe in at any of these schools.  It is so competitive that it's practically a c**p shoot.
