okay, this isnt an emergency but ive really been wonderin

on my biology E SAT i got a score of a 750..which i know is fine

however, on my math level one i recieved a 600

is that terrible? lol my mom doesn;t even know where that score stands.. do you know the average score?

oh and.. i took these tests on the same day so would i be able to retake just one of them? ( i really don't want to retake biology) I want to retake the math alone. I think my proctor was saing something about how i couldnt but i really wasn't paying attention.

Also, i have been meaning to ask my guidance counselor but schools ended and i just can;t wait till september

thanksss if you know anything at all =DDD

no crude comments .. im simply looking for help.. =p

  1. I've heard that the Math level one is different from its upper level brother in that the curve is much less generous. If you have some extra time, try taking one of the humanities-related subject tests(i.e. US history).

As you seem to be a high caliber student, let me just say that the average SAT 2 score for math level one is 650-ish. For the ivies, look for scores around 730-800.

Good job on bio. Good luck!!!

  2. It isn't terrible but it wouldn't hurt to take it again. I'm sure you'd improve by a lot if you studied hard. You can retake the SAT II in October and November. It doesn't half to be the same combination either. You can take only math, or you can take Math, Spanish, and U.S. History for example. Take the tests that you've recently taken a challenging course in and think you'll do well. Good luck.

And I forgot to mention, your Bio score is great so theres no need to retake that one.
