im going to be a senior in high school and i took the SAT subject tests in lit, math 2 and chem this past june ..

chem - 650 (prob retaking in october)

lit- 480 (deserved it, i didnt study at all)

math 2 - 610 (GENEROUS curve on this test, lol)

im gonna take AP gov't, AP economics, AP physics and AP lit next year and i was wondering if it would be a total waste of time and money to take the subejct test for physics in june 2009? i mean, i wouldve already took the AP tests and i would already be accepted to my college. so is there a point to take the physics subject tests at the end of my senior year? would my college even look at the score if i sent it? do you kknow any senior who took a subject test in june of their graduating year? or is this unheard of and im just crazy for thinking about an idea this stupid? lol

  1. SAT 2 scores are not used after the college admission process.   Assuming you are already accepted at a college by the end of your senior year, there is no reason to take them.

  2. Yes if you think you can get a good score you should definitely take the SAT II as a senior because colleges use the SAT II not just to help with admissions. They also use your scores to place you when you get there. So if you got a good score you might be able to get out of an easy, but mandatory math course.
