  1. as what has been said

but also i believe there is

world supersport, British supersport, and superstock ? ? ?

i only know that motogp bikes are 800cc

wsb or bsb bikes are big 1000cc or 1100cc bikes and are sooped up road bikes. the rules and specifications for all types of racing are pretty strict though and have to be adhered to.

  2. I'm sure we all answered this last week.

WSB : Road based machines. Very tight rule book.

    4 cly = 1000cc 2 cly = 1200cc.

The starting bike must have sold 3000 [ or something like that] by mid season.

    MOTOGP :

One off pure race driven protoype 800cc missiles.

No road bike starting base. Yes very tight rules, but you make massive changes any time you like.

The MotoGP also runs the 250cc 2 stroke class [ soon to change to 450cc Twins / 600cc Fours] & the 125cc 2 stroke World Championships.

  3. MotoGP bikes are pure racing machines whereas SBK are souped up road bikes.

Other categories are supersport, 125, 250 and I think there are also some single make series.

  4. As Above..... also endurance racing  8 or 24 hour racing.

    side car racing too.
