SBV Excelsior staged a dominant show in the return leg of the relegation play-offs against FC Den Bosch, thrashing the visitors 3-1 at home on Sunday, http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/May-22-c39884. Consequently, SBV have progressed through to the next round of relegation/promotion play-offs.
After the first-leg ended in a 3-3 stalemate, the Kralingers needed a win to keep their hopes alive of playing in the Dutch top flight next season. Alex Pastoor, the Kralingers manager, was utterly disappointed with his side’s performance in the first-leg.
However, Pastoor would be a much-relieved man, as his side performed impressively in front of their home crowd and managed to win comfortably.
“We were so much better. The play-offs are a bit sharper and we have not many players who have played these finals.” Pastoor expressed.

minute through Geert-Arend Roorda. A cross from the left flank found Roorda at the far post, who made no mistake in netting the ball and gave his side a 1-0 lead.
The visitors tightened things on the pitch and started to show resistance, but they were unable to make an impression. Most of the action was limited to the centre of the pitch, making it a dull affair to watch. The referee brought the proceedings to a halt

In the 85th minute, the Kralingers were awarded a penalty and Ryan Koolwijk kept his cool and slotted home their second of the evening. Three minutes later, http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Daan-Bovenberg-c9693 scored another for the home side to seal the game at 3-1.
Pastoor would be brimming with confidence after his troops produced an impressive home performance. The Kralingers will take on Helmond Sport in the final round of the promotion/relegation play-offs on May 26. Pastoor will be hoping that his side manage
to emerge victorious in the two-legged encounter and play in the Dutch top tier next season.
