Maribor Sporting Director, Zlatko Zahovič, claims that their UEFA Europa League opponents, SC Braga, are a team of champions. The Archbishops travel to Ljudski vrt on the 20th of October and the Slovenian legend claims that the visitors possess
quality players with great ambition, which makes them a tough side to beat.

Having won their last fixture against 1º Dezembro 3-1 in the Portuguese Cup, they will again be looking to savour the sweet taste of victory.
Although Maribor will go into the match with confidence, as they are the home side, Sporting Director Zlatko Zahovič remains wary of the threat posed by the visitors.

Speaking to reporters, the ex-Partizan man said that Braga were a side filled with ambition and quality players, who could inflict serious damage upon any opponents.
"For me, SC Braga is not just a team from the Europa League. They are champions, whose team is full of good players and great ambition,” he said.
The 40-year-old also said that the Arsenalists’ success over the years was down to the structure at the helm, which had been implemented by visionary president Antonio Salvador.
“Braga is able to win big and get into any competition, even in Europe. It's amazing how they have grown! This can only be due to President Antonio Salvador and the structure, he has built around it,” Zlatko Zahovič was quoted as saying.
Although facing a difficult task at home, Maribor can overcome their rivals, if they manage to concentrate and channel their energies in to the match. However given that the likes of Nuno Gomes will be playing in the other team, that is easier said than
done.
