SC Heerenveen’s duo Luciano Narsingh and Oussama Assaidi on Schalke radar – Dutch Eredivisie news
Reports in Dutch and German media indicate that Bundesliga outfit, Schalke 04, are taking keen interest in signing http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Oussama-Assaidi-c28900 in the winter transfer market.
Earlier reports suggested that VVV-Venlo’s Ahmed Musa could be joining Die Knappen to replace Jefferson Farfan. The 26-year-old winger is expected to join La Liga outfit, Malaga, in January and the club management sees Musa as an ideal replacement.
The Royal Blues seem not only to be eyeing a replacement, they are also looking to enhance their squad look in the winter transfer market.
Narsingh, who started his career at Heerenveen in the 2008/09 season, is performing impressively on the right flank at Abe Lenstra Stadion. In his seven appearances this season, the young winger has already managed to hit the back of the net thrice while
also providing two assists.
Assaidi, on the other hand, joined the outfit from Friesland in the summer of 2009 after making 17 appearances for De Graafschap. Since his arrival at Abe Lenstra Stadion, the 23-year-old has remained a constant menace on the left flank for his opposition.
He has represented Heerenveen in well over 50 matches, scoring 14 goals while providing a bagful of assists.
Horst Heldt, Die Knappen general manager, has refused to reveal any of his side’s targeted players. However, he has not ruled out bringing in players from the Dutch top tier.
“We are always interested in finding good new players for our team. We are keeping our eyes open and it is true that the Dutch league is a competition we have our eyes on”, Heldt was quoted as saying to the media.
Reports indicate that the http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Royal-95-c40387 Blues would be tabling a bid to sign the two players in January. However, should Farfan prolong his stay at Veltins-Arena, chances of the youngsters arriving in Bundesliga would be significantly reduced.
