Its suppose to be a tropical storm and I will be effected with rain and wind. I dont know to trust weather.com or accuweather.com!!! accuweather.com says "41mph but feels like 65mph" but weather.com says "22mph". Usually weather.com and the weather channel is always right (weather.com and weather channel... same thing). We are staying home but I am really scared.... any tips? I put this in beauty and style cause it is the most seen.

  1. my name is hannah!?

  2. Stock up on food and water and other necessities.  You might not have power for a while.  Don't worry, this one looks like it won't be too bad.

  3. Why does my name have to be Hannah?

  4. unless this storm is beautiful and stylish, your in the wrong category.

  5. Sorry to see all the rude people on here makin remarks to u.. but just stay in... its scary...it will soon be over.. be careful....

  6. i suggest you trust the authorities, if they say evacuate, evacuate.  It's very likely hanna is going to be a hurricane before it even gets to florida, i'm unsure how that equates to virginia.  If your instincts are telling you that your going to panic and feel to much trauma if it gets bad, then get out of there, you won't be the only one i'm sure, better to be safe.

  7. you're fine. i think Hanna broke up anyway.

and it wasn't going to hit you, and if it was

going to, all you would have gotten was rain.

Hannah's all broken up now. not going to

be a hurricane and barely a tropical storm

    now.

  8. Calm yourself! Just put up shutters if you're that worried. I've lived in Florida almost my whole life and lived through many hurricanes. It's not even a hurricane! Don't worry.

  9. Where do you live?  In most places it's likely to knock out power and topple a few trees, but in the US tropical storms are rarely fatal.  Our house sat through Gloria (Cat 1) with no problem.

  10. a tropical storm is nothing.

i have lived through many hurricanes the 15 years of my life living in South Florida.

  11. umm ; im not really sure .

  12. DON'T WORRY BATMAN WILL BATTLE THIS STORM

    AND SEND IT TO KENYA

  13. Try not to worry about it so much.  The main concern with a tropical storm is the rain,so unless you live in a flood zone you should be OK.  Do be prepared for electrical outages though...have batteries, food, drinking water, etc. Actually, with Hanna's present forecast course, you live on her west side, which will mean less rain and wind.  She is also predicted to weaken,  but there is no certainty as these storms are hard to predict. In any case, unless you are told to evacuate,  stay inside and away from windows until the storm has passed.  I live in FL., Fay passed near me twice, and all we got was some rain and gusty winds.  Since, like you, I don't live right on the coast (or to the east of Fay's path), our storm damage was very minimal as compared to those who got a direct hit. Just try to remain calm and keep an eye on the forecasts.
