but my question is, is it too long for a 13 year old to take 45 minutes to do her skin, makeup and hair? i use,

2 facial cleansers

3 face creams

i straighten my hair each morning

for make up i use, powder (2 powders), eyeliner and mascara.

  1. It takes me an hour and a half to get ready in the morning. 25 minutes for shower, 15 minutes for hair (I just have to brush it and put mousse in it.... I have super curly hair), 10 minutes for makeup (liner, shadow, mascara, blush, bronzer), 2 minutes for skin (just toner and moisturizer), 4 minutes for teeth (brushing and flossing), 15 minutes for breakfast, 5 minutes for putting my books together, 2 minutes for making my lunch, and 10 minutes of watching the news. And I'm 13.

  2. It takes me about 10 mins. To me 45 mins is too long. I think the eyeliner and mascara is fine but 2 powders? Do you really need it? Get rid of one when I see people wear powder their face looks fake (to me). I flat iron my hair every week and it stays but for makeup I use NARS eyeshadow and I use very little (its a nice orange color) then I take a angle brush and put a very thin line of black eyeliner on my top eyelid (stila eyeliner gel) and mascara and carmex. So that's my makeup routine its not all that much...

  3. Ok your 13 years old like me.A girl should totally look after her self and care about her skin, clothes etc... you should absolutely take your time to prepare for school cause school is important in many ways. And if you come the first day dressed dorky and your make-up and hair all messed up then you will never be on the cool side of the school...So just remember take your ime to be prepared...Hope i helped and obviously good luck

  4. Hun, there is absolutely no reason you should take that long. Honestly.. I take about a 15 minute shower, add a little mouse to my hair, and  do my makeup (only mascara) -- and can be ready in like.. 20 minutes.. when i was your age, of Course i took longer - but theres honestly no need..

  5. Forty-five minutes is not too long for a thirteen year old to do her skin, makeup, and hair and you can speed up your beauty routine by using less products.

  6. One, your using to much facial cleansers, Washing your face frequently will make it break out more then normal. Try using a Cleanser in the morning, then at night

I'm 17 years old and it takes me 45 minuets to get ready

i get in the shower that takes 15 minuets

after i get out of the shower i do my hair first, i brush it out to get all the tangles out then i apply my mousse ( Garnier fructis xxl volume) and my texturizing spray ( Charles Wothington Big Waves) then i comb through. then Blow dry high heat and really messy. takes about 20 minuets

then i do my make up.

i apply a light foundation ( Covergirl Tru Blend whipped foundation) with a make up sponge all over my face. I then take a blush ( Cover Girl cheekers in Rose Silk) and apply it to the apple of my cheeks ( when you smile really big the round part) and along the cheek bone ( make a fish face) depending on if i want a natural look is how much eye makeup i wear. for normal every day i use my mascara ( Loreal Voluminous) and i curl my eyelashes too.

8th grade.. you shouldnt wear to much make up.. the amount your wearing is good, but your time seems long. Most of its probably straightening your hair. Heres what i recomend. Don't straighten it everday.. on the days you do.. shower at night and dry your hair COMPLETLEY through.then when you wake up, your face is clean hair is clean and your ready to go.. it should cut about 20 minuets off your routine.

  7. im seventeen..

i usually shower the night before and straighten my hair the night before... then in the morning i just go over and it take two minutes.

as for make up... i use like foundation powder mascara eyeliner and eyeshawdow.. and it takes five minutes ive gotten really fast at it.. then i just brush my teeth and dress then im off for school...

    takes about a half hour...

but that is because i cannot decided what to wear...

so i sugggest get what your going to wear the night before.

  8. 11 ( almost 12 ) and about an hour, becuase i use all that revlon like # stuff for my hair, and depends, nyx and mac, different everyday for makeup, so yea

  9. k heres my routine:

before shower i put on a cleanser and leave it on and brush my teeth

    30 minutes shower

5 minutes after shower jus drying and stuff

10 minutes hair (mousse + blowdry to add volume)

    10-15 minutes makeup

Makeup: foundation, powder, blush, eyebrows, eyeshadow, eyeliner, mascara

im 18, but when i was 13 id spend almost an extra hour longer because i'd straighten my hair too, but over time i learned to accept my curls and now its fast and easy! and i actually prefer my hair how it is now than how it used to be before:P

  10. I just brush my hair, wet it, and tease it a bit.  I put on eyeliner and eyeshadow.  It takes about 5-10 minutes.  And I am 14.

&d**n, you use a lot.  I think you should apply the facial creams and cleansers at night, so they can soak in during that time, and you can look fresh in the morning.  That will also save a LOT of time for yourself.

I also think you don't need that many facial products, like the 2 cleansers, the 3 face creams, and the powder.  I think you get too dolled up.  You should lay off a bit of the makeup.  You don't want to end up looking like caked up face and then mess it up throguh teh day of school.  It's only school, anywho.

  11. Sounds like a lot of make-up, but i know it isn't. I'm 16, and it takes me about 45 minutes to do my hair & makeup. I do the samething you do basically, I wake up and wash my face. Then I put this acne lotion on. Then I put a little babypowder to soak up excess oil. And then I style my hair. Usually it takes about 20-30 minutes depending on my hairstyle. And then I use the same makeup thing, except it's 2 powders, bronzer, eyeliner, and mascara, and everyone always thinks I have no mak-up on cause it looks that natural. So it sounds like you have a great morning routine.
