1. Relax they always want to meet the new kid you will always find friend sat new school moved 3 times. I always found new friends.

  2. Go up to some folks and chat them up. Do the whole cliche be yourself thing.

  3. OK don't freak out, I like in Southern California for the school year and in Lake Tahoe for the Summer, I wouldn't be so worried, most people at my school just are casual and super chill. And I'm a little shy too, usually the Charter school system has a lot of activities for everyone, so like if your into theater arts you can do like plays or something... and if your into art, you get the picture. Anyway thanks it was fun answering your question, and by the way there are good and bad people wherever you go, home is where you make it.

  4. trust me...i've been to seven schools.being new isn't bad at all..start a conversation with someone and you'll feel that you belong

  5. good conversation starter:

    be likee.

oh, i'm new, i just moved here from nevada!

    everything's so differenttt!

how long have you lived here?

what do you do here for fun?

    etc.

idk, i'm usually realllyyyy outgoing, but when i'm not with anybody i know or am nervous, i totally freeze up. just think of a few light conversation topics that you can start with people that sit near you, are at your pod, by your locker, near you on the bus, etc so that when the times comes to talk to them, you don't freeze up or run out of things to say. after a couple of minutes, the conversation should start to flow on it's own. don't worry; i was in the exact same position as you when i moved next year but trust me you'll start to get the hang of everything after a few weeks. good luck!!![:
