  3. When in doubt, try alphabetical order.

  4. Definitions:

-Blastula: the early developmental stage of an animal, following the morula stage and consisting of a single, spherical layer of cells enclosing a hollow, central cavity

-Egg: A female gamete; an ovum

-Embryo: in the early stages of development within the womb

-Haploid: an organism or cell having only one complete set of chromosomes, ordinarily half the normal diploid number

-Fetus: in the later stages of development when the body structures are in the recognizable form of its kind

-Gametes: A reproductive cell having the haploid number of chromosomes, especially a mature sperm or egg capable of fusing with a gamete of the opposite s*x to produce the fertilized egg

-Fertilization: the union of male and female gametic nuclei

-Gasturla: a metazoan embryo in an early state of germ layer formation following the blastula stage, consisting of a cuplike body of two layers of cells, the ectoderm and endoderm, enclosing a central cavity, or archenteron, that opens to the outside by the blastopore: in most animals progressing to the formation of a third cell layer, the mesoderm

-Sperm: a male reproductive cell; spermatozoon

-Zygote: the cell produced by the union of two gametes, before it undergoes cleavage

So, I don't know exactly what you want for the correct sequence, but this is what I have and I hope it helps you get to what is needed.

The male and female gametes, sperm and egg cells, are haploid.  When they join through fertilization they form a zygote.  The zygote then starts dividing and becomes an embryo, going through certain stages including a blastula and then a gastruala.  The embryo then continues dividing and develops into an fetus.

I hope this is somewhat close to what you were looking for.

    * Sorry, that was my mistake, I hope it didn't make things too confusing

  5. You need to look at the terms and relate them to a certain topic. In this case it is reproduction.

The correct sequence should be:(note that sometimes two are together/interlinked and are marked by same symbols)

    Haploid- 1/2 the genetic material+

Gametes- genetic material that fertilize and are products of meiosis+

Sperm- the gametes of a male/

Eggs- the gametes of a female/

Fertilization- two gametes (of opposite sexes of course) interacting/uniting

Zygote- 1 celled organism, a result of fertilization

Blastula- 1 cell layer thick organism, looks like a hollow ball

    Gastrula- 2 cell layer "             "            "                   "

    Embryo

Fetus- an almost full formed baby

  6. Blastula and Gastrula

    Egg and sperm=  Haploid Gametes

    Embryo  and Fetus

    Zygote =  Fertilizaion
