I am doing a experiment 'which material is the most resistant to water absorbency?'

The materials consist of Cotton, silk, leather and linen.

I need a scientific hypothesis saying leather is the least water absorbent, and if you have the time, maybe a method?

xD THANKYOU SO MUCH :D

  1. If you just measure absorption, then your material which of the materials you tested absorbs the least water.  It wouldn't tell you why.  Be careful how you define your standard of what you will measure.  That will affect your answer.

  2. Because it has less molecules enough to hold the water's molecules.
