  1. platelets  are one of the major parts of our blood. So it's in our circulating blood.

Platelets are actually fragments of the cells in bone marrow, called megakaryocytes. Stimulated by the hormone thrombopoietin, platelets break off the megakaryocytes and enter the blood stream, where they circulate for about 10 days before ending their short lives in the spleen.

If you have a lot of platelets in your blood, it can cause you stroke. But if you have less of it, it makes you bleed. Its because platelets is the major player in the ability of our blood to coagulate to prevent further damage to our blood vessels.

  2. Platelets are cells circulating in the blood that are involved in the cellular mechanisms of primary hemostasis leading to the formation of blood clots.

Platelets are produced in hematopoiesis by budding off from megakaryocytes.

  3. Platelets are all the over the body.  They are the cells in the body that circulate the blood around.  So when you get a scratch and start bleeding the platelets rush there and form blood clots to slow down the bleeding.  It is a mixture of blood, human cells, and water.

  4. A1: I only have one and it's in my head

    A2: Metal

  5. Platelets are located in the Blood helping it clot.  They are a part of Megakaryocytes, which are made of bone marrow!
