SCUBA Certification testing?

Question

I am planning on getting certified for open water & am nervous about the physical testing. (ie swimming 200 yards). Can anyone tell me what to expect?

When I did my open water, the 200 yard swim was a lot harder than I thought it would be. You're allowed to take your time (although if you take too long they'll hurry you up a little) and use any stroke you want, as long as you don't stop until the end.
