I was interested in what depths divers have been too? What is your maximum depth and qualifications (eg - padi open water, advanced or another certification)

I have an advanced open water with PADI, and have been to a depth of 45m (150ft) on a wreck located of the cost of espiritu Santo, Vanuatu : SS president Coolidge.

  1. Legally max depth for a recreational diver is 130 ft. Personally i've been to 140 but it wasn't too much fun for bottom-times sake.  Going past 130 starts to get dangerous in the DCS areas because you may not have enough air to make a proper safety stop.

BUT! sounds like a Sweet dive!

  2. i was on the same thing but went to 50 meters

  3. 202 ft, St Lawrence Seaway on the Jodrey as a Rec Tech diver ( IANTD/SSI and PADI on air).Com ticket 353 ft tri mix ssd, 90 ft working r.scuba.

Depth is just a number in your log. Sounds like your dive in Vanuatu was  a good one. That's all that really matters. Was it intact? If so...that rocks.
