SD card error when Put into my canon zr600 video camera?

When I place my new SD card in my video camera it comes up CARD ERROR Im leaving for vacation soon so I need this card to work. This video camera is compatible with the card. What's wrong? Thanks

  1. You can try upgrading the firmware...to get it up to the sdhc spec...


  2. i have the same problem with my Canon Powershot camera and a 4GB SDHC card

    you see, the SDHC memory cards is a fairly new invention, and only certain gadgets(fairly new) are compatible with SDHC memory cards

    SDHC cards are 4GB and higher

    so i suggest you to buy a 2GB card, which might solve your compatibility problem...it worked for me!
