SEARCH ENGINES CANNOT FIND MY BLOG!!?

Question

I created a blog 2 weeks ago, published it, and sent the url to google. And its still unable to find it, I thought in 2008 things would e faster, not slower and unreliable. My blog is with Blogspot, I think its even OWNED my google, it beggars belief. Is there any blog providers for free, where I can have my blog SEEN on the net within the same day?

As soon as your site is available on the Internet, you can submit it to Google by completing the add URL form at www.google.com/addurl.html.

Another way to be listed — and to raise your PageRank too — is by getting other websites to link to yours. After that, when Google’s robots or spiders, known as Googlebot, crawl the web, they should run across your site within a month or so. As we mentioned in the page How Google Works, there are two types of crawls, fresh crawls and deep crawls. Your site most likely will first get a fresh crawl in which only pages Google deems most important are crawled. Recently Google developed Google Base, a service, like a bulletin board, for posting all types of content, e.g., coupons, reviews, jobs, housing, events, tickets, merchandise. Things for sale may get cross posted on Google’s Product Search and locations may get cross posted from Google Base to Google Maps.

Some people said that they can list their/your website in google under 24 hour. This can be done easily. Index in google means, our website is in google’s database. You can find out by searching your domain name at google. If you haven’t find any result, that means that the website is not in google index.

submit your website to their index of websites and it can take up to 6 weeks for your website to

be placed into their index. So how do you get listed in 24 hour?

You need to search website with high PageRank. Higher pagerank means, that they are visited by google more often. Your website will be listed in google more quickly, if you the high PageRank website links to you.
