  2. You're just saying what everybody else is afraid to admit out loud SEC WHERE THE BIG BOY'S PLAY!!!

  3. Okay, we admit it.  With at least four teams in the top twelve, the SEC is by far and away the best football conference and has some of the hottest coeds in the country.   With the past two BCS Championship Games turning into routs of Ohio State, the SEC champion looks a lot better than any other team out there.  Conference wide, the SEC seems to be more competitive in terms style of play read wide open offensives combined with aggressive defenses as well as speed and talent on the field.

If you look at the other major conferences, nothing really holds up to the SEC for now.  Of course, the Pac Ten has USC, which in my opinion should rightfully be ranked #1.  But below that, it is not that spectacular. Arizona State is a legitimate 15th ranked team.  The Sun Devils have talented senior quarterback, which means a lot in that conference.  Oregon has good personnel and should be able to field a fairly decent team.  The Big 12 has five teams in the top 20 including three in the top ten, which would be pretty good most years.  But, I think the quality deteriorates rapidly from say #7 in the conference to Iowa State and Baylor, who will duke it out for the basement. Personally, I think the Big Ten is still stuck in the 1980’s.  Hey, it was a fun decade.  But hopefully, I get a few decades older before I get stuck in the past.  The Big Least has West Virginia and they are good, but not that much after that.  As far as the ACC goes, it is impossible to figure out and I watch 2-3 football games every Saturday.

Now, it is time for you Southern boys to admit that you all are cheaters and schedule patsies at the slightest opportunity.  Until recently, there was always one team in SEC except Vandy that was always on probation or under investigation since the early eighties.  In addition, the good old boys in the athletic department seem to want to create schedules with eight home games with four non conference games against the likes of Furman, Central Florida, Tennessee Chattanooga, and Southwest Missouri State. Again, the true fans of college football deserve non-conference games like what Michigan vs. Notre Dame was in yesteryear with big man on big man and lots of big, colossal hits.

    Best regards,

    Pauly

  4. no go PAC 10!!!!!

  5. Greatest is a little strong isint it, id go with stacked with a bunch of DECENT teams

  6. well for level of comp yes they are, pac 10 usc has one tough game this yr and ohio 1 game, winner of these 2 one will go to the champ game and the other rose, wish the rest of conf had guarentees like this, these 2 teams get everything handed to them while everyone else has to earn their spot, so i say yes SEC has the toughest road to anywhere

  7. No question.  I honestly cannot remember a crappy one in the bunch from the Saturday night ESPN SEC games.

Being a fan of a Pac 10 school I always wanted to believe the Pac 10 was at least the equal of the SEC, but no more.

  8. Definitely. They have only taken what 4 of the 10 BCS National Championships! (Tennessee in '99, LSU in '04, Florida in '07, and LSU in '08)

  9. I agree it is the best and strongest!

  10. Yes they are the best conference right now. All conferences rise and fall. While the SEC is rising, the ACC and Big 10 are down.

Look at the SEC in basketball. They used to be unstoppable, but are down now while the ACC, Big 10, and PAC 10 have stepped up

  11. Best this year maybe, greatest no....  GO BIG 10!

  12. Hands down.  There's some SEC teams catching flack because of weak out-of-conference scheduling.  Why slap another tough game on your schedule when you've got the likes of Georgia, Florida, Auburn, Alabama, and South Carolina on your schedule.  I'd love to have a schedule with UCLA, Washington, Washington State, Cal, Oregon, Oregon State, Stanford, Arizona State, and Arizona on it.  There's not a tough team in the bunch.

Plus if you somehow make it through that schedule you'll be seeing Georgia or Florida or Auburn again in the d**n conferecnce championship game while USC and Ohio State are in their dorms praying to God that the BCS f#cks it up again and puts one of them back in the national championship game.

It's not even fair.  But that's what makes SEC football king!!!

Correction:  If you're at USC you're not in your dorm praying...you're at the $300,000 house your agent loaned your parents.

  13. **** NO!!!...SEC is so ******* overrated in football....LSU goin to the championship with 2 losses, **** that ****....PAC-10 is the best in football and basketball, and baseball....GO CAL BEARS...remember the tennessee vs cal football game in berkeley, cal rocked the ******* vols, oh, and USC vs arkansas, USC rocked the **** outta them too.......PAC-10 all the way, domination!!!

  14. By far. So tired of hearing about  the pac 10.One team does not make u a strong conf.If u pac 10 boys want to play real football come "between the hedges" and see what is up.Wish we could have played SoCal instead of Hawaii to finally shut them up.We will see this year since dirty sanchez got hurt. You pac 10 fans will find out when we play ASU with all of our fans in their stadium since we bought half their season tix.

  15. Probably should have mentioned Auburn and left Tennessee, Bama, and UK off of the list...

  16. yes, and im sorry ohio state fans. lsu and florida are to much for you aren't they?

Ohio state doesn't deserve to be in another national for the next 5 to 10 years.

And to marcus: yes the cal one the game last year, but the year before that tennessee one i recall? so its 1-1.

  17. Nope.
